Ang Ziqian is the Deputy chairman of the Ang Chin Moh Group of Companies, a leader in funeral services in Singapore. The Group’s flagship company, Ang Chin Moh Funeral Directors founded in 1912, is one of the oldest funeral services providers in Singapore. He spearheads the Group’s innovative corporate development and directions.
Ziqian is an active member of the United States National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA) – the world’s largest association of funeral services professionals – he serves on the NFDA Global Committee as a Board Member. He also commits his time to local charities such as Metta Welfare Association and Buddha Tooth Relic Museum and Temple
Ziqian established the Group’s philanthropic arm – the Ang Chin Moh Foundation – to mark the Group’s 100th anniversary in 2012. The need to increase public awareness on matters of dying and death, education for the funeral services sector to enhance professional standards, and to maintain heritage of this essential service in Singapore, was his driving force. The Ang Chin Moh Foundation, in tandem with the Lien Foundation, launched global initiatives such as Design for Death, and locally Hospitable Hospice, Both Sides Now and Die Die Must Say.
