Michael is Director of the University of Waterloo Hong Kong Foundation. He oversees international development and collaborations in Asia, as well as marketing and alumni relations in Hong Kong. His office is engaged with the Government, statutory bodies and Hong Kong’s universities to work together on advancing Hong Kong’s innovation agenda
Michael spent 20 years in the commercial sector, heading up marketing of Walt Disney Videos, SC Johnson and Blockbuster. He followed that up with another 10 years in the non-profit sector, overseeing marketing, policy and fundraising for the SPCA and currently University of Waterloo
Michael is an active researcher in Leadership and Followership in organizational behaviour, and holds a DBA, MBA and BS Math.
